Adaptogen balls

FIRST STEP

Using an electric blender/ Nutri bullet grind 1 and a half cups of preferred nuts (I used cashews and Brazil nuts but you can use any nuts or seeds)
Then grind 1 cup of dates. If your grinder is not up to the job you can soak the dates overnight which will make it easier to blend/chop/mortal and pestle them! The dates will giveĀ  you great fibre and sweetness.

NEXT STEPS

Add 4 tablespoons of any nut butter (I used almond butter). Tahini works too.
Then add a quarter cup of coconut flour/powder,
2 tablespoons maca powder
2 tablespoons Ashwagandha powder
1 tablespoon Ganoderma/ Reishi powder (other medicinal mushrooms like Chaga would work too)
a quarter cup of cacao powder
1 teaspoon cardamon powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder (I used pumpkin spice powder instead which is a pre-made mix of those)

FINAL STEPS

Using your hand mix the powders and try to form balls. As I used quite a few herbal powders I also added half a tin of coconut milk (the thicker cooking time) to help the balls stick together. Any milk will work.
Then I just finished the balls off by dusting them in cacao powder or coconut powder.
I froze half of them and put half of them in the fridge ready to enjoy them every day!
